Summit Immersive Education Space
Summit Immersives Space in Akron is a BRAND NEW immersive entertainment space combining education and awe-inspiring images.
The store front is very unassuming- you probably won't find it unless you're looking- but once you enter it's like stepping into another world. Beautiful scenes projected on all four walls and the floor transport you to a world of imagination as the narrator shares a soothing, educational dialog.
We saw the Cosmos Journey and explored inside stars and planets. They also have Ancient Egypt, World Art, Underwater World and more shows coming up.
They have a little table with free snacks when you walk in and there are bathrooms in the back. The scenes moving on the floor might make you dizzy if you're prone to vertigo so I would recommend arriving early and finding a seat before the shows starts. We had a lot of kids in our group and it got pretty loud, so if you are very interested in hearing the narrator I would prepare kids ahead of time to be quiet.
